 Stay Dry!

CoolPlus:100% Polyester 350 gram
CoolPlus is a type of new functional fiber, which can transport water and keep the skin healthy. It applies the capillary action resulted from the micro-slits on the fiber surface to rapidly absorb the sweat from skin surface, diffuse it to a larger area through several actions, such as wicking, diffusing, transporting, etc., to make the fabric dry faster. At the same time, the air permeability of the fiber is applied to release the hot air out of the body in keeping the skin fresh and cool.
Technical Properties: Capilary Wicking, Temperature management, Sun Protective.
Colors available: White, Black, Navy, Red, Royal Blue, Forest Green, Athletic Gold, Kelly Green, True Orange, Purple, Silver
Colors for Textured CoolPlus: White, Black

Malden Mills PowerdryPolartec Eco fabrics

Polartec® Power Dry® fabrics are designed to keep your skin dry when you sweat. All fabrics in this series feature a patented bi-component knit construction that uses different yarns on either side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces: one that is optimized to move moisture away from the skin, the other to dry quickly.
How Does It Work? Moisture and high relative humidity next to the skin cause discomfort. Polartec® Power Dry® keeps the skin dry through three complementary mechanisms:
  • The fabric is highly breathable and does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor.
  • “Touch points“ on the fabric inner surface draw off the sweat. Sweat is wicked off the skin to the outside of the fabric where it spreads rapidly for evaporation. Polartec® Power Dry® fabrics move at least 30% more moisture away from the skin than single component fabrics.
  • When the sweat reaches the outside of the fabric, it spreads out to many times its original surface area, enabling it to dry at least 2 times faster than cotton.

 Longsleeve Jerseys

Vertex has a dual-layer ribbed construction, which gives it more stretch than other woven fabrics.  Combined with a super light-weight and soft hand, this provides excellent movement when worn loose or close to the body.  The dual-layers are what give Vertex its unique eco-technical advantage. Next to the skin is recycled polyester, with engineered wicking; the outside layer is rated for sun protection.  With a rating exceeding 40 UPF for white, you are not only kept cool and protected, you are doing it with recycled fibers!

 Swiss Technology

Aero Dimplex®: 82% Polyester, 18% Lycra 200 gram
this is a low-resistance material that was designed using wind-tunnel testing.  Dimplex actively generates a turbulent airflow from the small dimples.  The turbulence reduces friction, which is the theory behind the dimples on the surface of a golf ball to carry the ball farther. And its not all about sliding through the wind, you want to do it without feeling like you are wrapped in a sausage skin. e1 Textiles absorb sweat and transport it away from the body without drying out the skin.  Our Aero Dimplex acts like a second skin, providing physical comfort thanks to skin-friendly properties, hygiene and freedom of movement.
The textile is a single- or multi-layer knit structure that uses spun and textured yarns.
This use of different yarns ensures that moisture is transferred from the first layer to the outer layer where it can evaporate.
Technical Properties: Wicking, breatheable, reduced friction.
Colors available: White, Black.

Merino Wool with LycraWool fibers consist of an inner core made of protein, which is covered by overlapping scales. The protein core will absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without becoming damp or clammy. The scales are hard, reducing wear on the fibers, and repel liquid water. The fibers are strong and elastic, and are usually wavy, or crimped. Wool also contains lanolin, a natural water-repellant grease. Wool on the sheep, or its fleece, protects the animal from the wet and cold by first turning away rain and water. The crimp of the wool produces insulating air spaces within the fleece, which reduce the flow of heat. The air near the skin is kept dry, and so a better insulator, by the core protein absorbing moisture from this trapped air, and passing it towards the outside of the fleece. The elasticity and strength of the fibers allow movement of the fleece without losing the air spaces or breaking the fibers. The scales besides repelling liquid water, help keep the fleece clean, since their outer ends all point in the direction away from the skin, and so with the movement of the fleece tend to push any dirt away from the skin.

Merino wool is a very long staple, very fine wool from the Merino sheep. Merino sheep have been bred in New Zealand to produce extremely fine wool. The wool can also be treated to make it fully washable and tumble dryable without losing its great qualities.

Merino wool, particularly when twisted into a worsted yarn, is smooth to the skin. The fine fibres are soft, and the long staple gives fewer ends, reducing any irritation from loose ends.

 Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton
Organic farming reduces the mass use of pesticides, chemicals and water. The chemicals used in conventional cotton production are some of the most harmful known to man. Every year new chemicals are created to spray cotton crops as the cotton plant, and insects that invade it, grow immune to the current chemicals used. Organic cotton still requires a great deal of water to grow. Turkey and the USA are the largest producers of organic cotton, however it still only accounts for .03% of the world's total cotton production.

Use Organic Cotton in your team Tees!

Hemp is one of the most environmentally friendly fibers in the world, requiring no pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers and very little water. Almost half of the agricultural chemicals used on US crops are applied to cotton. Hemp exhibits eight times the strength of cotton, and fabrics made from hemp are more insulatiing, absorbent, and more durable than cotton. It is also hypo-allergenic and non-irritating to the skin. Buy Hemp Sweats and Tees for your team.
